Ecropolis will webcast Jim Collins – author of “Good to Great” and his most recent, “Built to Last“ from the Gazelles Fortune Small Business Growth Summit in Dallas, TX.

Jim Collins delivered a rich three hours to a conference audience of approximately 500 executives as well as a group of about 100 local business schools students. Ecropolis saw to it that Jim Collins was streamed live to at least 1000 other executives, globally. Ecropolis streamed live using Flash encoder over a platform called Livestream.com. Because of the importance of this event, Ecropolis brought in a satellite internet truck that remained on standby, if the hotel’s bandwidth had faltered we were able to make an immediate, seamless cutover. We received positive reports from the 4 corners of the globe. Thanks to the Livestream.com platform the even was ready for on-demand viewing within an hour of completion. This was of particular importance because we were only allowed to show the archived stream for 24 hours.
